Editorial standard
How product records are built and checked.
The directory separates stored facts, editorial explanation and unverified market claims so readers can see what is known and what still needs confirmation.
Policy version: 10 August 2026Source order
- Manufacturer documentation for model identity and technical specifications.
- Pakistan retailer or distributor listings for local price, configuration and warranty context.
- Stored catalog records for comparison and continuity when a live source is unavailable.
Source transparency
The public build records the review date, model identifier, coverage level and individual specification fields. It does not yet publish a field-by-field source URL for every record, so UnderOneRoof should be used as a secondary reference. Confirm purchase-critical details in current manufacturer documentation and the exact seller listing.
Normalization
Names, categories, units and repeated fields are standardized without changing the underlying value. Invalid sentinels such as “null”, object placeholders and impossible zero-value fuel fields are removed. Electric motorcycle watt ratings are labeled as motor power rather than horsepower.
Images
A model image is shown only when the local file can be tied to that exact record. Shared or ambiguous images, and missing or broken files, are withheld; they are never replaced with a generic placeholder or a look-alike product image.
Price and availability
A Pakistan price is displayed as the last recorded local-market snapshot with its check date, never as a live offer. A manufacturer price stays in its original currency and is explicitly labelled as a non-Pakistan price. When no numeric price is published, the page says so instead of inserting an estimate. Current stock, taxes, import costs, configuration and warranty must still be confirmed with the seller.
Mobile Journal
Mobile briefings turn each phone’s recorded specifications into a readable model overview covering hardware, launch status, price context and purchase checks. They are specification briefings, not laboratory reviews; performance claims appear only when the record contains a relevant specification.
Corrections and review
A correction updates the underlying record so its product page, filters and mobile briefing remain aligned. Automated checks cover duplicates, missing local images, invalid values, minimum specification coverage, canonical routes and rendered pages; editorial review is still required for source accuracy.
